Candice Accola, who plays Caroline Forbes on The Vampire Diaries, announced her engagement to Fray guitarist Joseph King via her Instagram account on Wednesday.
“Cheers from the future Mr.&Mrs. Joseph Aaron King,” Accola, 26, captioned a picture of the newly engaged pair. Another picture posted to her Instagram of her and King is simply captioned, “Happy…”
King, 35, also took to Instagram to announce the happy news. “I’m a lucky man, “ he wrote, posting a close-up shot of his new fiancé.
Accola’s costar on Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev, who recently split from Ian Somerhalder, seemed just as excited as the bride and groom to be. "DYING RIGHT NOW! SO excited/thrilled/happy/hyperventilating over ur engagement! #matchmadeinheaven,” Dobrev tweeted. “I mean.. #matchmadebynina."
Accola began dating King after splitting from TVD costar Zach Roerig in June 2012.
