Hudson’s Bay Company is dropping Ivanka Trump products including clothing, jewelry and shoes as a result of the #GrabYourWallet campaign, a boycott which targets stores that sell any Trump products. In the fall, the Canadian department store chain plans to eliminate all of her products.

According to CNBC, the company wrote in an email, “Hudson’s Bay is phasing out this brand through the fall based on its performance. As part of our regular course of business, we review our merchandise offerings and make appropriate changes.”

The #GrabYourWallet campaign initially launched in 2016 when a conversation in which President Donald Trump gloated about “grabbing” women by their genitals leaked. Another movement titled Baycott specifically went after Hudson’s Bay Company for selling Trump goods.

This marks the 40th Canadian company to remove Ivanka Trump products from their store, according to Shannon Coulter, the founder of the #GrabYourWallet movement.

The Guardian reported that Hudson’s Bay, headquartered in Toronto, also owns Lord & Taylor and Saks Fifth Avenue, though only Canadian stores will be affected. Additionally, Trump was supposedly informed about the decision regarding her retail products last fall.

Trump was previously dropped by Nordstrom in Nov. 2017 also for poor sales. President Trump tweeted saying the first daughter was treated “so unfairly,” yet Nordstrom’s stock prices rose following the tweet.

Now that her clothing line has been pulled from Canada’s biggest and oldest clothing store, angry Canadians and Americans alike await President Trump’s reaction via Twitter, as usual.
