Cameron Diaz Admits Lesbian Experimentation; Says She's 'Been With A Lady'

Cameron Diaz, who stopped by Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live to promote her new film The Other Woman, copped to some lesbian experimentation and “being with a lady” before.

Diaz sparked speculation about her sexuality earlier this year when she claimed to believe that “all women have been sexually attracted to another woman at some point” to Glamour UK. Diaz went on to note in other interviews that she neither considers herself a lesbian nor bisexual but she’d yet to address whether she’d ever acted on an “attraction.”

Cohen, wanting to get to the bottom of Diaz’s sexual past, asked the actress if she’d ever “swam in the lady pond” as his first question in the show’s Plead the Fifth segment. Instead of opting out of the personal question, Diaz gamely answered the host.

“Interesting! What is the lady pond?” Diaz replied with a laugh. After Cohen clarified the question, Diaz answered, “Yes, I have been with a lady. Yeah.” When Cohen pressed for details, wondering if she’s been with a woman sexually more than once, Diaz decided not to answer.

“You didn’t ask explicitly how I was with a lady,” Diaz told Cohen, “but I have been with a lady.”
