Caitlyn Jenner Wants To Be The “Trans Ambassador” For Ted Cruz

Caitlyn Jenner has revealed that if Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz were to become president, she would like to become a “trans ambassador” advising the evangelical candidate on transgender issues with a “trans issues board” which consists of “all [her] girls,” according to The Advocate. Of course, this assumes that Cruz would ever use any of his theoretical presidential power for transgender issues to begin with – Cruz has long been on record strongly against transgender and LGBT rights.

Even though Jenner has acknowledged that “Democrats are better when it comes to these types of social issues,” she supports the Republican Party, as she always has, because she feels its leaders are better suited to run the country. “Number one,” she explained, “if we don’t have a country, we don’t have trans issues. We need jobs. We need a vibrant economy. I want every trans person to have a job.” She went on to explain her logic. “Socialism did not build this country,” she said. “Capitalism did. Free enterprise. The people built it. And they need to be given the opportunity to build it back up.”

Still, Jenner acknowledges that Cruz is “probably one of the worst ones when it comes to trans issues.” But she thinks that he’s “a great constitutionalist and a very articulate man” recalling that “he was very nice” when she met him before her transition.

Cruz has yet to acknowledge Jenner’s comments.
