Caitlyn Jenner‘s new book The Secrets of My Life has many revelations worth discussing – for one, Kris Jenner is very upset with the negative portrayal Caitlyn gives her throughout the book in which Cailtyn claims that Jenner knew about the Olympian’s gender identity the whole time.
But one of the more interesting revelations concerns the Jenner/Kardashian family’s relationship with O.J. Simpson and his slain wife, Nicole Brown Simpson.
Discussing the book with Andy Cohen on Radio Andy, Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show, Jenner says that the trial caused a riff in her family and that she “knew he did it.”
“The hard part during the trial was mostly for Kourtney [Kardashian] and Kimberly [Kardashian] because they were a little older,” Jenner said. She went on to explain that although her wife was on her side, Kourtney and Kim had difficulty picking which side to be on. Speaking of Robert Kardashian, Kris Jenner’s previous husband, Caitlyn Jenner says he “was on one side and we were on the other.”
But even though they were on different sides, Jenner feels that Kardashian was always wary of being on Simpson’s side. Kardashian once disclosed to Jenner that he was worried about defending Simpson because he knew the football star was going to get away with murder.
“I felt terribly sorry for him,” Jenner said of Kardashian. “Robert was a really good person, I really liked Robert.”
The Secrets of My Life is Jenner’s sixth published book and is available through all major book sellers.
