Caitlyn Jenner Criticizes ‘Woke Ideology’ & The ‘Radical Rainbow Mafia’s Influence On The Media

Caitlyn Jenner, the transgender Olympic gold medalist, recently expressed her disapproval of what she referred to as the “radical rainbow mafia” and voiced concerns about certain segments of the LGBTQ community.

In an interview with renowned British comedian John Cleese on GB News, Jenner criticized a small group within the community that she believes wields significant influence through social media to promote what she called “woke ideology.”

Jenner, 74, who transitioned in 2015, has previously spoken out against what she perceives as the more extreme elements within the LGBTQ community. She now contends that the LGBTQ community has been “taken over… by a small group of highly, well, crazy people.”

She argued that the outspoken nature of this group, with its insistence that “trans women are real women,” and its confrontational approach, is detrimental to the broader trans community, and she believes that their tactics are counterproductive and hinder progress.

The television personality, who gained fame through her appearances on Keeping Up with the Kardashians alongside her ex-wife Kris Jenner and their children, also criticized the power of social media, which she believes amplifies the voices of this select group, often motivated by a desire for fame.

“I think that really hurts most trans people. All they want to do is just go live their life,” Jenner lamented in the interview. She implored politicians and the media to avoid involvement in transgender matters and emphasized that individuals needed to make personal decisions about their gender without external interference.

Jenner further expressed her opposition to government funds for gender reassignment surgery and advocated for it to remain a personal decision made in consultation with individuals, their parents and medical professionals. She cautioned that government intervention in this matter could potentially disrupt family dynamics.

The interview also touched on Jenner’s views regarding trans women’s participation in women’s sports. She argued that such participation could be seen as self-centered and self-indulgent, and potentially undermine the experiences and achievements of biological women.

In April 2021, Jenner announced her run for governor of California as a Republican and was met with very little support from the LGBTQ community.

She was recently criticized for her use of a handicapped slur, but her misspelling of the word prompted more mockery.
