Sandra Bullock had the box office year of her career in 2009 and now she’s channeling her success by donating a whopping $1 million for relief of victims of Haitian earthquake through the NGO Doctors Without Borders. "I wanted to ensure that my donation would be used immediately to meet the needs of the Haitian people affected by this catastrophic event," Bullock said in a statement. After releasing no movies in 2008, Bullock broke box office records with The Blind Side and The Proposal, which grossed over $150 million. She joins an elite list of celebrities who have given over $1 million in wake of the Haitian crisis including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and George Clooney. –JAKE GABLE
