Budweiser’s newest Clydesdale Super Bowl commercial – titled “Puppy Love” – features the unlikely friendship between a puppy and a Clydesdale.

The minute-long ad shows the yellow Labrador Retriever puppy escaping from its adoption center to hang out with a Clydesdale at an adjacent farm. No matter how many times the puppy gets brought back home by the head of the horse famer (Don Jeanes), it finds it way back to its equine bud.

When the owner of the puppy adoption center (Melissa Keller) finds a new home for the pup and sends him on his way, the Clydesdale springs into action. Leaping over white fences, the horse bounds towards the car – and with the help of his fellow Clydesdales – returns his pal to the farm.

The emotional commercial is set to the sounds of Passenger’s “Let Her Go.”

Last year, Budweiser ran a similar commercial called “Brotherhood,” which showcased the enduring bond between a Clydesdale and the man who raised him (Jeanes). Both commercials were produced by Anomaly.
