Bruce Springsteen’s Son, Sam Springsteen, Will Be Jersey City Firefighter

Bruce Springsteen‘s son, Sam Springsteen, will become a firefighter in Jersey City.

His mom, Patti Scialfa posted on Instagram Thursday congratulating her youngest son.

“CONGRATULATIONS,” wrote Scialfa in the caption with a flame emoji. “…You followed your dreams…JC firefighter..stay safe..love your brave heart.”

Sam, who is 25-years-old, took the civil service exam to become a firefighter in Jersey City, which is the state’s second-largest city.

Sam has served as a volunteer firefighter in Colts Neck, so the job isn’t new to him.
