Britney Spears
Britney Spears stumbled and fell mid-performance during her Las Vegas show, Piece of Me, on Wednesday night.
Spears was performing one of her early hits, “(You Drive Me) Crazy,” when the incident occurred. Spears appears to be alright, though a bit stiff, dancing through the number, but she stumbles while applauding her dancers and band, and ends up falling to the floor.
Another video shows a close up of Spears during the fall. After she hits the floor, Spears recovered like a pro and kept on singing before getting back up with the help of two of her male dancers. She finished the track and had a bit of a laugh, “Alrighty then!” she said before launching into “Till The World Ends.”
After word of the tumble surfaced, fans rushed to Twitter to share their concerns for her ankle and applaud her for recovering and going on with the show.
Spears assured fans that she is doing fine, taking to Twitter to announce she was on the mend. “Thank you for all of the sweet wishes! Had a little scare on stage tonight with my ankle but I’m ok!” she tweeted on Thursday.
