Spears, who is currently in L.A. while on a break from her Piece of Me Las Vegas residency, shared a photo of her new haircut on Instagram Tuesday, sharing a dark photo of her edgy new bangs and short, platinum blonde locks.

The following day, Spears took her new hair out for a spin and shared another photo with her Instagram followers, this time giving fans a better look at her new ‘do.

Her usually long, blond hair is barely even shoulder length, which may throw some longtime Britney fans off. The shorter look is perfect, however, considering the hot summers of Los Angeles.
