Britney Spears thanked her fans for supporting her 2023 memoir The Woman in Me and urged those who hadn’t picked up the book yet to snag a copy.

“Wow, wow, wow … thank you all for your support over the past year!!! It means the world to me!!!” Spears wrote on X, along with a picture of the book’s cover. She continued, “One year of The Woman in Me…Over 3 million copies sold worldwide!”

Spears’ memoir delves into the depths of her traumatic childhood, her tumultuous experience as a teen pop star, and her romance with Justin Timberlake, among the other ups and downs of the star’s life.

In a series of posts this week, the pop star shared pictures and musings from her latest excursion to Turks and Caicos. “There’s something about this exotic place,” she wrote. “No matter how many times I come here, it feels like the first time…the way Mother Nature speaks to me. A video I took outside had birds singing, and the song was so loud. OK, maybe I just found my soul here!!!

Spears revealed that her bond with nature had exceeded her bond with romantic partners in the past. Remembering an unspecified ex-boyfriend, Spears shared, “I’m honestly not ashamed to say this, but whenever me and my ex would come here, we fought…Not one time did I sleep in bed with him…I got a pillow and would sleep outside…I like the sound of the fountain outside…I wanted to whisper the secrets of the universe…”

She admitted, “I’ve stayed inside a lot this trip because it’s insanely hot…But I think I might just sleep in the baby courtyard.”

Spears declared in July that she was in the “marry herself” era and planned on maintaining her single status for a period. Interestingly, just days later, rumors began that she was involved with her former housekeeper after the two were seen enjoying dinner together.
