Britney Spears is currently traveling internationally as apart of her Piece Of Me tour, and she is reportedly refusing to meet with lawyers for a deposition for her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s court case against her.
Spears and Federline had two kids together, the 12-year-old Sean and 11-year-old Jayden James Federline, and the singer pays $20,000 in child support to her ex every month. Additionally, Federline has four other children, two of whom he bore from his current relationship and two from a previous one.

Federline has previously sought to increase his monthly child support allotment at least twice, currently without any success. Last week, the former couple’s lawyers met in court, with Federline and his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, arguing he should get more money. Currently, he’s reportedly asking for around $60,000.
Spears’ lawyer and conservator, Laura Wasser and Jamie Spears respectively, meanwhile claim that Federline isn’t dutifully using the money he receives on the kids, though Jamie is nonetheless open to increasing the monthly payments by $10,000.

TMZ reports that Spears’ legal team has filed paperwork claiming deposing Britney would disrupt her world tour and potentially harm the children, undermining their safety by releasing their private information. Spears is currently imploring the judge to “severely limit what Federline can access” and “to seal whatever does become available.”
