Britney Spears Performs Through Wardrobe Malfunction As Unitard Splits Open In Las Vegas

Britney Spears didn’t let a minor wardrobe malfunction keep her from finishing her performance in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Britney Spears Wardrobe Malfunction

Spears was in the middle of singing her 2009 hit “3” in her Piece of Me show when the zipper on her mesh and latex unitard broke and split open at the back.

Backup dancers tried futilely to get the zipper back up – and to stay there – throughout the rest of the performance. Unbothered, Speared continued through the song until the end, even completing all of the song’s choreographed dance moves.

After the song finished, Spears ran backstage for a costume change.

Spears’ launched her Piece of Me show in Las Vegas in 2013 with a $30 million deal. Last month, the pop singer announced that she would be renewing her residency at Planet Hollywood for another two years, signing on for $35 million.

“I’m not ready to leave Vegas yet. And I just really, really love this show and this city,” Spears said in the announcement. “When it came down to me really having to make this decision, I just couldn’t imagine ending my residency at the end of this year.”

In addition to continuing her residency, Spears is working on her ninth studio album.
