Britney Spears Celebrates ‘Best Day Ever’ As Her Conservatorship Officially Is Ended

Britney Spears celebrated her “best day ever” as her nearly 14-year conservatorship ended.

“Good God I love my fans so much it’s crazy 🥺❤️ !!! I think I’m gonna cry the rest of the day !!!! Best day ever … praise the Lord … can I get an Amen 🙏🏼☀️🙌🏼 ???? #FreedBritney,” she wrote on Instagram.

The conservatorship ending marks the end of the #FreeBritney movement, which aimed to help her gain independence from her father and the control he had over her life.

Her father, Jamie Spears, recently filed to be removed from the conservatorship, making this victory an expected one. However, this did little to lower the excitement of Britney or her fans.

The #FreeBritney movement began gaining traction after the star began telling the world about what she had to go through while working under it. She also repeatedly stated her desire to be in charge of her own decisions and finances.
