Britney Spears Calls Sister Jamie Lynn ‘Scum’ & A ‘Liar’

On Friday, Britney Spears shared another message to her estranged sister Jamie Lynn Spears as she continues to promote her new book Things I Should Have Said: Family, Fame, and Figuring it Out, which made the National Best Sellers list on January 27. Captioning an Instagram post of a segment of The Real talk show, Britney wrote, “National bestseller???? DUH [rolling eyes emoji].”

Jamie Lynn’s memoir was released on January 17, about two months after Britney’s conservatorship was terminated after 13 years. 

“The timing of your book was unbelievable, Jamie Lynn… especially knowing the whole world had no clue what was really done to me!!!! My whole family including you is saying YOU DIDN’T KNOW… Bullshit!!!”

The post clips of The Real show included co-host Adrienne Bailon Houghton accusing Jamie of making a book “for-profit” instead of communicating with the singer privately.

“She should have named this The Things I Should Have Said to My Sister and My Sister Alone But Instead I’ve Decided to Make a Book for Profit,” said Houghton. 

“If you wanna clear your name… who is it important to clear your name to? Your sister or the masses of people?” Houghton added. “Why did you feel the need to clear your name to millions of people who are not your family members, who are not your blood, who are not your DNA?” 

Britney went on to praise Houghton for her words. “What these women are saying here is pretty clear!!!! I’m just kinda shocked that more people like these real soul sisters aren’t telling it like it is!!!”

Jamie Lynn also wrote that her Zoey 101 co-star Alex Nikolas‘ bullying accusations against her were for attention since her “fame had waned.” On January 13, Nikolas rejected Jamie’s claims on Instagram. 

“I was pretty surprised to see her lying up a storm in there. I recently thought we were fine after she tried to use me in her Zoey 101 Music Video to make herself look better after I finally came out about what happened to me while on set/ being left out once again during the reunion reboot ploy. To be honest, it took her a while. I’m guessing the pressure from others made her address the issue.” 

Britney went on to accuse her sister of lying about her and Nikolas. “The nerve of you to sell a book now and talk shit but your fucking lying just like you lied about Alex Nikolas!!!! I wish you would take a lie detector test so all these masses of people see you’re lying through your teeth about me!!!! I wish the almighty, Lord would come down and show this whole world that you’re lying and making money off of me !!!” 

Jamie Lynn has not responded to Britney’s comments yet.
