Britney Spears is making headlines again, and as usual, not in a good way – a former bodyguard has accused her of abusing her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, by beating them with a belt, according to RadarOnline. The pop-star has laid low since her meltdown in 2007, which resulted in Spears losing custody of the children. In 2008, a court ruled that Spears was unable to make her own decisions, and named her father, Jamie Spears, as her conservator indefinitely.
Since the incident, it has appeared Spears was doing significantly better, as she has gained more visitation rights, and embarked on a highly profitable world tour; she is frequently snapped by paparazzi spending quality time with her children.
However this isn’t the first time Spears has been accused of bad parenting – in 2006 she was caught driving with her young son on her lap, and in 2008 photos surfaced of her smoke cigarettes in front of her children. According to Radar, social service visited Spears’ home after the accusations were made, but no charges have been filed. –ELENA COX
