Britney Spears Bashes Kevin Federline for Saying Her Sons Don’t Talk to Her

Britney Spears slammed ex-husband Kevin Federline on Sunday for revealing her sons didn’t communicate with their mother.

She noted that their estranged relationship started “long before.”

“It saddens me to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children,” Spears, 40, said in an Instagram story after Federline’s interview with Daily Mail, in which he said their sons “have decided they are not seeing [their mom] right now.”

“It’s been a few months since they’ve seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding,” he said.

The former couple shares two sons, Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15.

“As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone,” the “Toxic” singer claimed.

The boys only live a three-minute drive from her Calabasas home she shares with her new husband Sam Asghari.

Federline claimed that the falling out between Spears and her sons was due to her recent naked social media posts that didn’t sit right with her boys.

“It concerns me the reason is based on my Instagram … It was LONG before Instagram,” she insisted. “I gave them everything. Only one word: Hurtful.”

Spears posted early Sunday saying, “Reminder that the trauma and insults that come with fame and this business not only affect me but my children as well !!! I’m only human and I’ve done my best.”

In a second post, she said her ex should keep his nose out of her business because “whatever is happening outside this home has nothing to do with his home.”

She then went on to blame her conservatorship and controlling parents for her rocky relationship with her children.

“I’ll say it… My mother told me ‘you should GIVE them to their dad,”‘ Spears claimed. “During my conservatorship [sic] I was controlled and monitored for nearly 15 years.”

“I needed permission just to take Tylenol !!! I should embark on doing WAAAY more than going topless on the beach like a baby !!!!” she said.

“I’m not surprised that just as my family did their share of interviews, they will too,” she said, seemingly referring to her teenage sons and their dad following the footsteps of her other family members who have spoken out about the experience.

Federline also said Spears was “saved” by her 13-year-old conservatorship by her father Jamie, who, according to Federline has been “put through the wringer” with negative publicity.

“I would absolutely welcome Jamie Spears back in the boys’ lives,’” Federline said.
