Britney Spears met Hillary Clinton in Las Vegas yesterday, posting photos of them together on both her Instagram and her Twitter.
Originally her Instagram post included the #ImWithHer, but it was later removed. This probably indicates that, Spears does not, or does not want to, officially endorse Clinton. But she did write that she was “such an inspiration” and a “beautiful voice for women,” citing Clinton’s “intense presence.”
“Piece of Me” is Spears’ rolling show in Las Vegas where she performs a collection of her hit songs.
Clinton is in Nevada for campaigning efforts for the caucuses on Saturday. Spears’ official endorsement would have probably helped her reach the younger voter Democratic which her opponent, Bernie Sanders, dominates. Although Spear’s reluctance to give official support is probably because of the validity of longtime speculation of Spears’ conservative inclinations. Spears has never commented on her political affiliation. Furthermore, Clinton definitely isn’t lacking in female in celebrity supporters, such as Chloe Grace Moretz and Demi Lovato.
