Britney Spears Alarms Fans With Celebration Of Her 5th Birthday – On Her 43rd – Saying She’s Ready For ‘Kindergarten’

Britney Spears, born on Dec. 2, 1989, and 43 years old accordingly, has announced the passing of her fifth birthday and a move to Mexico to escape this country’s “cruel” paparazzi.

On Monday, Spears posted a disconcerting video to Instagram, in which she stated, “I’m turning five this year. I’m turning five years old, and I have to go to kindergarten tomorrow.”

Later in the day, she said in a different post, “It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I’m wearing like a white Jason mask. It doesn’t even look like me. They’ve always been incredibly cruel to me, the paparazzi and pictures and the way they’ve illustrated me to be in some of it.”

Spears continued that the “extremely mean and cruel” treatment is from the photographers is why “I’ve moved to Mexico.”

Spears has long been reproving of the paparazzi and their distortion of photos. In 2021, she slammed the photographers for their alterations to her body in an Instagram post where she wrote, “The paps know where I am, and it’s really not fun!!!! It’s pretty hard going anywhere cause these silly faces keep popping up to take my picture 📸🙄 … but not only do they take my picture … they distort my body and mess with the image, and it’s embarrassing 😬😳🙃!!!!! I know my body is not perfect, but I definitely do NOT look like how they portray me. It’s rude and it’s mean, so paps kindly F— YOU AND F— OFF 💋💋💋 !!!!”

While Spears’ reaction to the paparazzi seems well justified, many of her fans are concerned about her age claims and worry that the pop star is approaching a mental breakdown. Spears’ career has been rife with claims of her mental instability.

However, her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me, introduced a new perspective on the reasons behind her reputation shift. In the book, Spears recounts the pain of being unable to contain her reactions to the traumatic 13-year conservatorship put in place by her father, which granted him the final say and ability to veto her every decision.

Spears was in the news in May when she had to be helped by paramedics after a breakdown in a hotel lobby in L.A.
