Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelly married his girlfriend of seven months, Brittney Marie Cole, on Monday in Nashville.
Kelly, 28, had kept his budding romance with Cole, 23, under wraps until the pair announced they’d tied the knot in a quiet ceremony earlier this week. "Whimsical really comes to mind when I describe it," Cole told People, referring to their wedding with 40 guests in a renovated barn on her parents’ property in Nashville. As for her dress, it was a short, long-sleeved number that she discovered on Etsy.com.
"The whole process has been non-traditional," Kelley admitted. "There was no official proposal or exchanging of rings. We had just fallen in love, and I knew I couldn't live without her. It sounds like a terrible cheesy movie, but when you know, you know!"
While the pair has only be dating for a little over half a year, they met roughly three years ago when neither of them was available. "She definitely caught my eye [back then]," revealed Kelley. "Brittney's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I always knew in my heart that if I were single, then I wanted a chance with her. She was my dream girl."
When the two were finally able to get together earlier this year, they hung out and realized that they had something. As Cole says, “We just knew.” Before long, the couple who felt that they belonged with one another, decided to make their love official.
Kelley’s Florida Georgia Line band mate Tyler Hubbard was in attendance for the nuptials, as were the rest of the band.
