Charlie Sheen was rushed from his home in an ambulance Thursday morning, complaining of severe abdominal pains.

The Two and a Half Men star was admitted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, though his condition was not immediately known. "All I know is what I was told – that he was having severe abdominal pains," his rep Stan Rosenfield said, according to People.

According to TMZ, the call was placed at 6:35 a.m. Sheen was carried out in a stretcher with a towel over his face. Two young women exited the house shortly after. Sheen's parents, Martin Sheen and Janet Templeton, were reportedly with him at the hospital, as well as his ex-wife Denise Richards.

The actor has been embroiled in controversy recently, after a nasty divorce battle with Brooke Mueller and an incident in which he allegedly trashed a New York City hotel room in October. —ISHITA SINGH
