While everyone else was celebrating on the red carpet, Bradley Cooper, 36, was dealing with a much more somber event.
The Hangover actor is mourning the loss of his father, Charles Cooper, who succumbed to a long illness on January 15 at the age of 71, according to People. Actress Renee Zellweger, 41, who as been dating The A-Team star since summer of 2009, missed the Golden Globe Awards, where she was scheduled to be a presenter, in order to be with Cooper over the weekend.
On Sunday, the day after his father died, Cooper's mother's house caught fire while Zellweger, Cooper, and his mother, Gloria, were all watching the Golden Globes on television, according to WENN. Firetrucks were called to the scene, but no one was hurt. —KIMBERLY STEELE
