Brad Pitt Roasted By F1 Fans For Blowing Off Well-Known Journalist Martin Brundle

Brad Pitt is receiving online backlash not for alleged familial abuse that is being revealed in divorce court, but for choosing not to participate in an interview.

The journalist, Martin Brundle was in Austin doing a “grid walk” segment before the U.S. Grand Prix this past Sunday. Brundle is known as a former racecar driver and is well-liked in the F1 community.

This is why some fans were rubbed the wrong way by Pitt in the video. The actor clearly didn’t want to stop for a back-and-forth and seemed to try and avoid the camera before Brundle managed to approach. Brundle asked the actor if he could speak about the F1 film he is reportedly developing, and Pitt just responded with, “No, not yet! Top secret.”

Brundle tried to continue the conversation by adding that he has “seen you so much this weekend,” but Pitt began outpacing him and rebuffed Brundle with a quick “Thank you, man.”

Some fans took issue with the fact that Pitt shut down the chance to talk to an F1 legend so quickly when he is trying to make a movie about the sport. It’s fair to be annoyed about an actor potentially profiting off your love of something not seeming to care about it, although it’s pretty silly to expect an actor to just go into interview mode on the spot when they spend hours of their day doing that already.
