Angelina Jolie continues to face custodial issues from her divorce from Brad Pitt. In a decision made earlier this year, Judge John Ouderkirk awarded Pitt more custody over the former couple’s five minor children: Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and Knox and Vivienne, 12. The oldest child is Maddox, 19, and is no longer involved in the custody case.
It is unclear whether the decision is legally binding. Pitt had previously had little time with the kids.
A California law states that any child of 14 years of age or older should be allowed to give their custodial preference, meaning that Pax, Sahara and Shiloh should be allowed to testify.
This decision led Jolie to file a complaint to California’s Second District Court of Appeal against Ouderkirk; she attempted to remove the judge last year but was not successful.
