Brad Pitt is used to hearing “that’s a wrap” on movie sets, but this week he learned that it can be used in court, too.
The actor spoke out in support of proposed improvements of the Los Angeles County Museum at a Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors hearing on Tuesday. Pitt and Diane Keaton appeared before the L.A. County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday to back the art museum team, which was asking for $117.5 million in county funds to help finance an overhaul.
When Pitt was giving his heartfelt plea, County Supervisor Janice Hahn cut him off as he went over the allotted time. But, Pitt kept pushing forward.

“He is an architect that builds from the soul, for the soul. I can’t say enough about him. I see my time has expired. I could go on for another hour,” said Pitt.
“It gives me great pain to say it but wrap it up Mr. Pitt! It kills me to say that, but wrap it up,” Hahn said with a laugh.
However, Pitt continued, blaming actors’ “verbosity” and Hahn had to say “thank you” multiple times to get him to finish his speech.
Keaton however gave a less wordy speech. “I’m so excited for this … I hope that you’ll vote for it and I think you will because it’s worth it,” she said.
And Keaton and Pitt’s pleas seemed to have worked. The board voted unanimously to provide funding despite Pitt getting the cut.
