Gwyneth Paltrow has confirmed her engagement to TV writer and producer Brad Falchuk.

WHO IS BRAD FALCHUK?

On Monday, Paltrow, 45,  and Falchuk, 46, appeared on the cover of her Goop magazine to announce their recent engagement, of which rumors have been swirling since November. “Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be,” the actress said in the story. “I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy.”

Falchuk is a TV writer and producer, and is best known for his co-creating Glee with Ryan Murphy, as well as American Horror Story and Scream Queens. Falchuk also served as a writer and executive producer for Nip/Tuck.

The couple has been dating for three years, and went public with their relationship in April 2015 at Robert Downey Jr.‘s 50th birthday party. They’d been dating for a year prior to that after meeting on the set of Glee, but remained out of the spotlight. “We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship,” the couple said in a joint statement to Good Morning America.

Paltrow was previously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for 13 years, and the two share children Apple, 13, and Moses, 11. Their divorce became official in 2016, though they split years before. Falchuk has two children of his own, Brody and Isabella, from his previous 10-year marriage to Suzanne Bukinik, which ended in 2013. Paltrow shared that Falchuk and Martin have met multiple times, and said that “Chris accepted Brad a long time ago.” A month ago she posted an Instagram photo of both Martin and Falchuk, with the caption “Sunday brunch #modernfamily.”
