Bonnaroo 2013 announced its lineup on Tuesday with its live stream, the “Bonnaroo Lineup Announcement Megathon," which introduced headliners such as Paul McCartney, Mumford & Sons, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Bjork, Wilco, Pretty Lights and R. Kelly.
The music and arts festival will be held in Manchester, Tenn., from June 13-16, and Bonnaroo promises, “4 of the best days ever. 80,000 happy campers. 700 Acres of Tennessee Nature. 150 epic performances. 10+ stages of music… Hellos and Goodbyes and reminders of all that we have to celebrate and look forward to next year and in the future,” according to the event’s website.
There will be plenty of talent on hand with Passion Pit, The XX, Kendrick Lamar, Wu-Tang Clan, Of Monsters and Men, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, A$ap Rocky, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, and “Weird Al” Yankovic among the many others scheduled to perform. Check out the full lineup here.
The first level of tickets, priced at a shade under $225, are sold out. Price level 2 tickets ($234.50 plus fees) and VIP Package 2 tickets ($1449.50 plus fees) go on sale Saturday, Feb. 23, at 12:00 p.m. EST. —Hal Sundt
