Bobbi Kristina Brown Moved To Hospice Care: ‘In God’s Hands Now,’ Says Family

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has been moved to hospice care nearly five months after she was found unresponsive at her home.

Bobbi Kristina Brown Moving To Hospice

Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Pat Houston, confirmed on Wednesday that she had been moved to hospice care. “Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, [her] condition has continued to deteriorate,” Pat Houston said in a statement. “As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”

As Bobbi Kristina has remained hospitalized over the last several months, her physical condition has gone from bad to worse, according to a Brown family source.

“She’s skin and bones now. She has been losing weight, she’s been losing hair,” a source told People magazine. “They were taking good care of her, but she has no muscle tone at all. There has been some worry that her organs are shutting down.”

A Houston family source shared a similar message, acknowledging that while Bobbi Kristina is still breathing, there’s little hope of any kind of improvement in her condition.

“Krissi is breathing, but she cannot communicate,” the source told People. “The family and her father are just taking things one day at a time. She’s just in God’s care and it’s whatever he decides. The heartbreak and pain we feel in seeing her that way is beyond words.”

Bobbi Kristina, 22, was hospitalized Jan. 31 after she was discovered unconscious in a bathtub at her Atlanta-area home. Though she no longer remains on life support, she is said to have suffered irreversible brain damage and remains in a coma.
