Bassist and vocalist for band Blink-182, Mark Hoppus, was diagnosed with cancer and revealed that he has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment for the past three months. Hoppus is the only original band member of Blink-182.
“I have cancer. It sucks and I’m scared, and at the time I’m blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this,” he wrote. He also said he has “months of treatment ahead” but is “trying to remain hopeful and positive.”
His bandmate, Travis Barker, shared an Instagram Story that said “Love you @markhoppus,” with a picture of the two hugging.
