Blake Shelton‘s Friends and Heroes Tour continues, following the tour’s triumphant return in August, after the country singer was forced to cancel a portion of the tour when the COVID-19 pandemic began last year.

“I told you we would be back, and I’m thrilled to say we are kicking off the Friends and Heroes 2021 Tour in Omaha,” Shelton said in a press release. “I’m giving everybody in every city plenty of notice – you might as well tell your boss you’re gonna be late to work the next day and pay that babysitter overtime, because we are going to play some country music for y’all until they turn on the lights.”

The tour kicked off on August 18 in Omaha, Neb., and continues with shows on September 23 and 24 in St. Louis and Tulsa, Okla., respectively. The tour’s finale is scheduled for October 22 in Milwaukee.

Shelton announced that Martina McBride, Tracy Byrd, Trace Adkins and special guest Lindsay Ell are coming along on the tour.
