Blake Shelton Flirts With Gwen Stefani On First ‘The Voice’ Show Since Going Public With Romance

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani didn’t hide their affection for one another on the first live The Voice show since the two confirmed their relationship.

On Monday night, Stefani’s team of singers was facing off against Adam Levine‘s. After a number of performances by both sides, Shelton couldn’t resist the opportunity to declare his new girlfriend’s team the likely winner.

“Team Gwen is whippin’ the crap out of Team Adam tonight,” Shelton said. “It’s fun to see Gwen whip the crap out of Adam tonight. It makes me so happy.” Shelton’s effusiveness didn’t stop there, as he continued to repeat how happy he was that the No Doubt frontwoman looked poised to best the Maroon 5 singer.

In the end, Levine mocked Shelton with an over-the-top laugh, but opted not to call Shelton out for clearly promoting his girlfriend’s team.

Shelton couldn’t help complimenting Stefani once again when he noticed how she had styled singer Korin Bukowski for the show. “I think the last time you cut somebody’s hair on the show, Gwen… they won!” he gushed, referring to Craig Wayne Boyd, who was on Team Blake and won season 7.  “I ended up with the person.”

Following a couple of months of speculation, Stefani and Shelton confirmed their relationship after they were pictured embracing at Levine’s Halloween party. The two took it public last weekend while attending a CMA Awards after party together.
