Women have never had an easy time letting go of Leonardo DiCaprio, but it looks as if Blake Lively will have to find a way. After five months of dating, Lively, 24, and DiCaprio, 36, have called it quits, the stars' reps told Us Weekly.
This is the second break-up for DiCaprio this year. Mere weeks before he and Lively were first spotted together during the Cannes Film Festival in May, DiCaprio parted ways with model Bar Refaeli after five years of on-again, off-again romance. Back in October 2010, Lively broke things off with her Gossip Girl costar Penn Badgley, whom she dated for three years.
Until today's news, things seemed promising for DiCaprio and Lively. In late August, Lively flew from the U.S. to Sydney, Australia, where DiCaprio was filming The Great Gatsby. The pair also reportedly met one another's parents, with affable results. They will "remain friends," their reps said.
