Bindi Irwin Receives Another Perfect Score On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Bindi Irwin received another perfect score for her Dirty Dancing routine on Dancing With the Stars Monday night.

Irwin took a risk when she attempted the lift from the famous final dance in Dirty Dancing without a safety net. Irwin’s performance was flawless, and the lift was obviously worth the risk, because she received another perfect score from the judges.

The judges described the dance as being “as effective as the original.”

Despite Irwin’s fearlessness at attempting the routine, her professional partner, Derek Hough, admitted that he had been nervous about it. “I’ve honestly never been more nervous in my entire life,” he said, and also mentioned that he had never actually done a lift before. Irwin and Hough received some tips from the Dirty Dancing actress Jennifer Grey, who played Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman in the film. “You’re more who Baby is than I was,” she told Irwin.

Hough posted a photo of himself and Irwin practicing the lift in water, just as Baby and Johnny (Patrick Swayze) did in the film, and captioned it, saying, “What an honor to pay homage to this iconic dance film. “Nobody puts Bindi in the corner.” #teamcrikey #timeofmylife @bindisueirwin.”

The judges were elated with the performance. “When you dance like that you make my job easy,” Carrie Ann Inaba told Irwin, and the other judges agreed as they all gave Irwin a 10 for her performance.

The next episode of DWTS airs on Oct. 26 on ABC.
