Billy Joel Rescheduled Concert Tickets On Sale Now! [Dates, Deals & Ticket Info]

Billy Joel has postponed his concert at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan for a year. The concert was originally scheduled for July 10, 2020, but will now be on Friday July 9, 2021. The tickets for the previous event will be honored.

The last time that Joel has performed in this area was in 1994 at a concert at the Pontiac Silverdome in 1994 with Elton John.

Joel had previously rescheduled three of his spring concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Joel had played at Madison Square Garden since January 2014 and his most recent show there was in February. In that run, he had played the venue 73 times and 119 times overall. 

Madison Square Garden announced that Joel’s June 6 concert is moved to December 20, his July 23 to January 13 and August 3 to February 3. 

Earlier this week, Joel updated his followers on Instagram about the postponement of his Comerica Park concert was rescheduled. 

On May 7 Joel posted another Instagram announcing the rescheduling of his concert at Notre Dame Stadium from June 20, 2020 to June 26, 2021.

On May 6 he posted the new dates for Madison Square Garden.

Joel has been nominated for 18 total Grammys and has won five. He won two for “Just The Way You Are” and “52nd Street” while winning one for “Glass Houses.” In 1990, he was honored with the Grammy Legend Award.
