The Voice Blind Auditions
The Voice talent Billy Gilman bested competitor Andrew DeMuro in a head-to-head battle, as the two belted out Michael Jackson’s hit “Man in the Mirror.”
Former country music child star Gilman has impressed the judges with his clear cut singing voice and his infectious energy. “I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a more evenly matched battle,” said judge Blake Shelton. Fellow judge Alicia Keys thanked the two singers for bringing some light and cheer in this crazed election year.
“This really comes down to you,” Miley Cyrus chimed in as she looked to judge Adam Levine, because the two singers were battling for a spot on his team.
“I’m always choosing people that I feel can win this thing,” started Levine. “I have to make my decision based on that. And the winner of this battle… is Billy.”
So now Gilman is the number one singer representing Team Adam on this season’s competition. The Voice airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Listen and watch the incredible battle below.
