When your ex-wife is Angelina Jolie, it's hard to stay away. Billy Bob Thornton revealed that he still talks to Jolie, despite the couple's divorce in 2003.

"We talk every now and then," Thornton, 55, said to Hollywood Life. "She seems to be doing very well directing her own movie, which I am so proud of her for."

Though Jolie, 35, has had some setbacks in her directorial efforts, including a temporary ban on filming from the Bosnian government and criticism from an organization of Bosnian rape victims, Thornton said that he is excited to see her work.

"I always thought she should do that, writing and directing," he said. "She's real smart, and very creative, and I think it's a great job for her."

    It's still hilarious to me that she's nominated for her work in The Tourist in the comedic category. This woman can do absolutely anything and it's apparently award-worthy.
