Days after performing and winning two Grammys, Billie Eilish no longer has her iconic black-and-neon green hair.
In a Wednesday Instagram picture, that quickly joined a list of top 10 most liked posts of all time, Eilish shared that she now has blonde hair. Going from dark to light hair in one session while keeping it healthy is next to impossible, especially when her hair was black and green at Sunday’s Grammy Awards.
Fan theories grew online that the “Everything I Wanted” singer was wearing a wig at the awards show when now-deleted posts from her hairdresser Lissa Renn surfaced on social media. “The process is real when you’re doing it right,” Renn revealed. “6 weeks to get all the black out of her ends without damaging it, along with her following my strict haircare regime. We actually loved all the stages or lifting the color too but the end result 🔥🔥🔥.”
Eilish confirmed the fan theory when she posted a TikTok Wednesday night showing her black and green wig.
In December, Eilish revealed that she was going to change her hair after the February release of her documentary, The World’s A Little Blurry. In a separate post, Eilish shared a video showing off her new look, captioning it, “did you guess correctly?”
