Bill O’Reilly aired a new episode of his podcast, “No Spin News,” on Monday night. It was the first time O’Reilly speaks publicly since his ouster from Fox News, which occurred after The New York Times published a report claiming that he paid $13 million to five former Fox News employees to settle claims of sexual harassment.
“No Spin News” is only be available to paid subscribers of O’Reilly’s website and went live at 7.pm. EST. The website offers different subscription options ranging from a one-year $54.95 subscription to a $4.95 per month subscription.
O’Reilly was on vacation in Italy when Fox announced they would cancel his show, The O’Reilly Factor – as well as the announcement of ensuing $25 million payout O’Reilly will receive. As such, the former host has yet to speak candidly about his termination. He did, however, issue a statement through his website.
“It is tremendously disheartening that we part ways due to completely unfounded claims,” the statement read.
“But that is the unfortunate reality many of us in the public eye must live with today. I will always look back on my time at Fox with great pride in the unprecedented success we achieved and with my deepest gratitude to all my dedicated viewers. I wish only the best for Fox News Channel.”
Beyond the court settlements, O’Reilly has maintained his innocence.
The airing of the new podcast comes on the same night that Fox News is launching it’s new evening schedule, one that will not feature O’Reilly or The Factor – the first time without him in 21 years.
Tucker Carlson, a conservative pundit who has revitalized his career with Fox, has taken over O’Reilly’s 8 p.m. time slot with his show, Tucker Carlson Tonight.
She added, “Power couple emerging 20225 let's EAT🍰”
