Bill Belichick, 72, May Not Resume NFL Coaching Career Due To Budding Relationship With 23-Year-Old Girlfriend Jordon Hudson
Despite rumors about his return to the NFL, former Patriots coach Bill Belichick is unsure about resuming his career.
Belichick, 72, was fired by the Patriots earlier this year and has since started a successful media career. However, recent shifts in the NFL have sparked conversations about Belichick’s possible return, though many factors may influence his decision.
The six-time Super Bowl-winning coach is reportedly at a “crossroads” in his life due to his relationship with 23-year-old Jordon Hudson – and he is even considering marriage.
Several teams could offer Belichick an opportunity for a coaching comeback.
Last week, the New York Jets owner Woody Johnson fired head coach Robert Saleh after a loss in London.
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy has been under pressure since losing on Sunday to the Lions. Though the team’s owner, Jerry Jones, said he was not considering a coaching change, Belichick would certainly be in the running for the high-profile position.
Belichick and Hudson’s relationship was first made public in June. Since then, the two have been more open about their romance, appearing public together and sharing affectionate posts about each other. The two met on a flight when Hudson approached the coach for his autograph.
