President Joe Biden‘s dogs will be making an appearance at this weekend’s Puppy Bowl. Champ and Major, the Biden family’s two german Shepherds, will appear alongside First Lady Jill Biden in a public service announcement focused on mask-wearing set to air during Puppy Bowl XVII.

The Puppy Bowl offers a group of puppies the opportunity to “play” inside a model stadium and airs before the Super Bowl. The event is focused on raising awareness about adoption of shelter pets -– an issue the Bidens have been passionate about. Their new dog, Major, was adopted from the Delaware Humane Association, and he is the first ever shelter dog to live in the White House.

During the ad, we can see the First Lady sitting with both Major and Champ in front of a fire at the White House. “Our pets have been such a source of joy and comfort,” Jill says. “The unconditional love from a dog is one of the most beautiful things on Earth, and we owe it to them to keep ourselves healthy. So please keep wearing your masks, even when you’re out walking your dog, right guys?”

The ad then closes out with a bark and directions to visit the Centers for Disease Control’s website for more information about preventing the spread of COVID-19.
