Bidding For A Lock Of David Bowie’s Hair Will Start At $4,000 At California Auction
A lock of David Bowie’s hair will be sold by the auction house Heritage Auctions on Saturday in Beverly Hills, California.
The lock is said to be from an employee at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in London. The woman took a sample of Bowie’s hair in the 1980s to create a wig for the singer’s wax figure.
There is expected to be a minimum bid of $4,000 on the lock of hair.
Bowie died on January 8, two days after his 69th birthday, after an 18-month battle with liver cancer.
