Beyoncé commenced her 57-date Renaissance World Tour with a futuristic first-ever live performance of her seventh solo studio album, Renaissance, at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. This is the Grammy winner’s ninth solo tour and fourth all-stadium tour overall.

The 41-year-old pop sensation kicked off her performance on Wednesday with four back-to-back ballads, including her 2003 hit “Dangerously in Love 2.” She then went on to perform all 16 songs from her Renaissance album, as well as several older songs including “Black Parade” and “Lift Off.”
Beyoncé showed off her incredible figure and athleticism as she sang, rapped and danced with her army of backup dancers, who wore shiny metallic silver leotards and blonde wigs. Her highly anticipated performance featured an outlandish futuristic set design with giant robot arms, disco balls, and pyrotechnics.

After an assortment of costumes, including a giant bee costume that paid homage to her fan-designated nickname “Queen Bey,” the mother of three concluded her show by performing the album’s final track, “Summer Renaissance.” Beyoncé brought her album cover to life as she performed perched on top of a crystalline horse before being hoisted over the crowd of adoring fans.
Beyoncé’s next performance will be on Sunday in Brussels, Belgium.
