Beyoncé reportedly has paid more than $300,000 for a pair of golden jewel-encrusted stilettos for her next music video.
Beyoncé bought the uber-expensive pair of heels from the British designers House of Borgezie Princess Diamond Constellation. The stilettos are fully made out of diamonds and tauted to be “possibly the eighth wonder of the world.”
The Princess Constellation consists of 1,310 diamonds, which equals a diamond weight of 65.50 carats all set into a choice of either platinum or 18 carat gold. Each pair of the Princess Stilettos take about three weeks to create.
“It’s the ultimate, Beyonce’s one of those fantasy customers,” Chris Shellis, owner of House of Borgezie told Birmingham Mail. “If you want someone to model your creations, you can’t get any better than Beyonce.”
Shellis was approached by the star’s team months ago after they saw an article in the American press and confirmed this week: “It’s a sale.”
“I’ve been told the stilettos are for her next video which should be out in the autumn,” Shellis added.
Shellis has confidence that his new shoe collection will be around for years to come. “Like any royal crown, the Princess Constellation will still be here in a thousand years time,” he said.
To top off her diamond-studded purchase, Beyonce also bought the designer’s gold basque belt, for the price of $85,000.
