Just two hours after Beyoncé made history at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, she announced the dates of her highly awaited Cowboy Carter tour.
At the awards show on Feb. 2, Beyoncé won her first Album of the Year award, becoming the fourth black woman to achieve this feat after two decades. She also won Best Country Album of the year, the first black woman in history to win in that category, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for her song ‘II Most Wanted’ with Miley Cyrus. With 32 awards, Beyoncé’s is the most acclaimed artist in Grammy history.
In her award speech, she told the audience, “I just want to thank the Grammy’s, every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer for all of the hard work. I want to dedicate this to Ms. [Linda] Martell. I hope we keep pushing forward opening doors.”
In a post to Instagram following the show, Beyoncé revealed dates of the tour, with the poster caption “SHE’S COMING.”
Cowboy Carter dropped in April and spent two weeks atop the Billboard 200, Beyoncé’s eight album to do so.
