Betty White’s Personal Belongings Will Sell At Auction In September

It’s been announced that the estate of late comedian Betty White is partnering with famed pop-culture auction house Julien’s Auctions to sell over one thousand unique items that belonged to her. The beloved actress passed away in the winter of 2021, just shy of her 100th birthday. Dates for the auction are September 23-25, 2022.

In their statement announcing the auction, Julien’s said some of the items for sale include “the Hollywood icon’s awards, scripts, wardrobe and memorabilia from her iconic television shows and films, as well as furnishings, artwork, fine jewelry, household and personal items from her beloved homes.” The collection will be displayed at museums in Santiago, Chile, and Kildare, Ireland, and on the cruise ship, Queen Mary 2 before the auction begins.

If you always wanted an Award but don’t think you’re talented enough, and don’t mind whose name is on it, you’ll be able to pick up her Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award or her 2015 People’s Choice Award for $800-$1200. There are also several gowns, beautiful pieces of jewelry, and gorgeous home furnishings that will all run you multiple thousands of dollars potentially. There are even mementos from her last marriage with Allen Ludden, including both of their wedding bands ($600-$800), and a golden flower broach ($14,000-$16,000).

While the auction will be going on in person at Julien’s Beverly Hills locations, interesting bidders will be able to remotely bid from all over the world if they register beforehand.
