Benedict Cumberbatch and his new wife Sophie Hunter indulged in some sweet PDA on the Oscar red carpet Sunday night.

Cumberbatch, who was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his work in The Imitation Game, looked dapper in a white tuxedo jacket, narrow bowtie and black pants. Hunter, who is pregnant with the couple’s first child, wore a loose, one-shoulder, red gown that showed off a hint of baby bump.

Cumberbatch lost the award to fellow Brit, Eddie Redmayne, but also attended the Awards as a presenter and participated in Neil Patrick Harris’ opening number. After the awards, Cumberbatch told BBC that he considered the night a win, saying, “I won, we all won – anyone who’s sitting in that audience won. There’s no such thing as 80% losers when you’re at the Oscars.”
