Benedict Cumberbatch And Wife Sophie Hunter Are Expecting Second Child

Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch‘s wife, Sophie Hunter, is pregnant with their second baby.

Their first child, Christopher Carlton Cumberbatch, came into this world just over a year ago. Now, Cumberbatch and Hunter, a theater director, are going to have another child. They have already applied to extend their London home.

On being a father, Cumberbatch recently stated, “suddenly I understood my parents much more proudly than I ever had before… I’ve become a father and a husband, and in the right order — just I might go for a batch of boys.”

Cumberbatch will most likely have to rush home even faster, as he tends to do with his current son. “I drop it all very very quickly because I have to eat and sleep. That’s honestly the truth. And get home, to a newborn,” he said.
