In the newest trailer for Ben-Hur from Paramount, viewers and fans can catch Jack Huston and Morgan Freeman in the reboot.
The story centers around Judah Ben-Hur played by Huston, is a prince falsely accused of treason by his adopted brother Messala (Toby Kebbell), an officer in the Roman army. His title is then taken from him and he is separated from his family and the woman he loves (Nazanin Boniadi). Judah is then forced into slavery. After years at sea, Judah returns to his homeland to seek revenge, but finds redemption.
The trailer shows epic battle scenes, arena fighting, and bringing to life one the of the oldest stories known to man.
“If you lose, you die,” says the haunting voice of Freeman during the arena battles.
The film is directed by Timur Bekmambetov, working off a screenplay written by Keith R. Clarke.
The film also stars Toby Kebbell, Rodrigo Santoro, Nazanin Boniadi, Ayelet Zurer and Sofia Black D’Elia.
