Ben Affleck and girlfriend Lindsay Shookus sit back and enjoy the Men’s Final Match of the U.S. Open between Rafael Nadal and Kevin Anderson on Sunday.

BEN AFFLECK & LINDSAY SHOOKUS AT MEN’S FINAL U.S. OPEN MATCH

The Spanish Nadal defeated the South African Anderson in three straight set wins. This was Nadal’s third US Open and 16th Grand Slam title, beating out his opponent 6-3, 6-3, and then 6-4, taking only two hours and 28 minutes to do so. With the win, Nadal gets one win closer to Roger Federer, who holds the most Grand Slam titles of any tennis pro with 19.

“It’s just unbelievable what happened this year,” Nadal told reporters. “After a couple of years with some troubles, injuries, sometimes playing not good – since the beginning of the season it has been very, very emotional.”

Affleck, 45, and Shookus, 37, showed some PDA as they cuddled up close to each other during the match at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens. “Ben looked pretty stoic until toward the end of the match. Lindsay started to tell him jokes or something and then he started to laugh and become more animated,” a witness told Us. “They looked really happy together.”

The pair dressed casually for the event, with both in jeans and bomber jackets. They were later spotted holding hands and getting dinner at a sushi restaurant in New York City.
